'Lana'. She's almost here.
A hand-block print named for a woman who came back to herself in full color.
This print has been in the making for a while.
Deep teal. Full blooms. Pink that holds its ground.
Hand-blocked in India by artisans who pressed every motif into cotton by hand — the same unhurried way it has been done for centuries.
Lana is named for Svetlana Peskova — a photographer, a mother, a woman who lost nearly everything and rebuilt herself into someone more wholly herself than she had ever been.
That journey is in this print.
In blooms that take up space without apology.
In color that doesn't soften itself for anyone.
